The Heavyweight Factory & Hard Rock Live present the gathering of all the former Heavyweight Champions of the World!

Hello, my name is Kris Lawrence promoter and proprietor here at the Heavyweight Factory. I’m excited about the fight here in South Florida at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Sept 5th. It’s going to be an all heavyweight fight card with Shannon Briggs as the star of the main event. Twenty six former Heavyweight Champions of the World will be attending the fight, which in itself will be a historic moment. Briggs has overcome many obstacles, and some major road blocks during his life, but he has fought through it all to beat the odds. A true warrior and inspiration to anyone who has gone through a hard time. The first week in September will be loaded with fun and excitement leading up to the fight. You can expect cameo’s from all former Heavyweight Champions, such as Wladimir Klitchko current Unified Heavyweight Champion of the World, Michael Moorer, Lennox Lewis, Oliver “The Atomic Bull” McCall”, Tony Tubbs, Chris Byrd, Tony Tucker, Hasim Rahman, Riddick Bowe, Lamon Brewster, Ray Mercer, James “Bonecrusher” Smith, Mike Weaver, and Roy Jones Jr. Genuine will sing the National Anthem.

Meet Mike Tyson


Tony Tubbs – is an American former professional boxer who fought as a heavyweight. In his professional career, which spanned from 1980 until 2006, Tubbs recorded forty-seven victories against ten defeats with two no-contests in fifty-nine fights. He is a former world heavyweight champion.
Roy Jones, Jr. – is an American professional boxer, rapper and actor. As a professional, he has captured numerous world titles in the middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.
Michael Moorer – is a retired American boxer who is one of only four men (the others being Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis) to win one or more versions of the World Heavyweight Championship on three separate occasions, as well as being a former light-heavyweight champion.
Michael Benett – is a one-time heavyweight champion, having held the World Boxing Organization championship from October 1993 until March 1994. He also represented his country in the 10th Annual Pan American Games winning a bronze medal in the 91 kilogram weight class. As an actor he’s best known for co-starring as Sonny Liston in Michael Mann’s “Ali” and as Biggs/El Plaga in Damon Dash’s indie urban hip hop classic ” State Property 2″.
Lennox Lewis – is a retired boxer and the Last Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion. As an amateur won gold representing Canada at the 1988 Olympic Games after a duel with future Heavyweight Champion Riddick Bowe. Lewis turned professional in 1989, winning his first 21 fights before he took over the number one position in the WBC.
Pinklon Thomas – is a retired heavyweight boxer and former WBC heavyweight champion from 1984 to 1986, whose trademark pink boxing trunks and a powerful left jab were key distinguishing characteristics.
Tim Witherspoon – is a retired American boxer who fought in the heavyweight division. Witherspoon recorded 55 victories in 69 fights with 38 knockouts and is a two-time former World Heavyweight Champion.
Chris Byrd – is a retired professional boxer. Byrd is a former WBO and IBF heavyweight champion. He retired in 2009 at the age of 39, his record stands at 41-5-1 with 22 KO’s.
Micheal Weaver – is an American former professional boxer. Weaver fought in the heavyweight division, and is a former WBA world heavyweight champion.
Evander Holyfield – He is a former Undisputed World Champion in both the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight divisions, earning him the nickname “The Real Deal.” He is the only four-time World Heavyweight Champion, winning the WBA, WBC, and IBF Tittles in 1990, the WBA and IBF titles in 1993, and the WBA title in 1996 and 2000. After winning the bronze medal in the Light Heavyweight division at the 1984 Summer Olympics, Holyfield debuted as a professional at the age of 21.
Wladimir Klitschko – is a Ukrainian professional boxer and the reigning Heavyweight World Champion, holding the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring Heavyweight titles. Klitschko has held a piece of the World Heavyweight Championship since 2006. In addition to that title, Klitschko is the reigning champion of two of the other three major sanctioning bodies, the World Boxing Association (which recognizes him as its Super Champion) and the World Boxing Organization, as well as the international Boxing Organization’s Championship. He has held the IBO championship since defeating Byrd, the WBO championship since 2008, and the WBA championship since 2011.
